Unlike the universally applicable TRANSlift, the TRANSedge is specifically tailored to the requirements of edgebanding lines. The control system is directly synchronized with the edgebanding machine, enabling precise timing and minimal cycle times. The system automatically detects the workpiece position and adjusts transport speed to match the production rhythm.
In a complete edgebanding line with Storm+ or TopEdge, the TRANSedge forms the backbone of the material flow. Automatic operation enables the line to be run with just one operator while throughput is maximized. Yes, the TRANSedge can in principle be combined with the FlexEdge. However, the recommended combination is Storm+ or TopEdge with TRANSedge for maximum performance. For the FlexEdge, we primarily recommend TRANScompact or TRANSlift.
The cycle rate of the TRANSedge depends on the connected edgebanding machine and the workpiece format. With a TopEdge at 22 m/min feed speed, the cycle rate is determined by the machine speed - the TRANSedge keeps up. Contact Asamer for a calculation of your specific throughput.
