The OTT TRANScompact is a compact return conveyor with integrated rotation function, developed specifically for smaller production lines and workshop spaces with limited room. It transports finished workpieces back to the machine operator, enabling single-operator running of the edgebanding machine. The integrated rotation function allows turning of the workpiece for processing the next edge.
The TRANScompact is the ideal companion for the OTT Pacific+ and Tornado+. Thanks to its compact design, the system fits into tight workshop spaces while still enabling efficient workpiece return. The operator places the workpiece at the infeed side of the edgebander, the machine processes the edge, and the TRANScompact automatically returns the workpiece to the operator - rotated if needed for the next edge.
Compared to the TRANSlift, the TRANScompact requires less ceiling height and is designed for lower volumes. Compared to the TRANSedge, it is more compact and more affordable but offers a lower cycle rate.
