The OTT TRANScompact is a compact return conveyor with integrated rotation function, developed specifically for smaller production lines and workshop spaces with limited room. It transports finished workpieces back to the machine operator, enabling single-operator running of the edgebanding machine. The integrated rotation function allows turning of the workpiece for processing the next edge.
The TRANScompact is the ideal companion for the OTT Pacific+ and Tornado+. Thanks to its compact design, the system fits into tight workshop spaces while still enabling efficient workpiece return. The operator places the workpiece at the infeed side of the edgebander, the machine processes the edge, and the TRANScompact automatically returns the workpiece to the operator - rotated if needed for the next edge.
Compared to the TRANSlift, the TRANScompact requires less ceiling height and is designed for lower volumes. Compared to the TRANSedge, it is more compact and more affordable but offers a lower cycle rate. Applications
Single-operator running for small workshops
The TRANScompact enables running the edgebanding machine with just one operator. The workpiece is automatically returned, so no second employee is needed for part removal. The rotation function also eliminates the need for manual turning of the workpiece.
Space-saving solution for Pacific+ and Tornado+
The TRANScompact was specifically designed as a companion to the compact OTT models Pacific+ and Tornado+. Together they form a space-saving production cell that works efficiently even in tight workshop conditions.

Choose the TRANScompact if you want to complement the Pacific+ or Tornado+ with a compact, space-saving return system. For higher cycle rates or larger machines like Storm+ or TopEdge, we recommend the TRANSlift or TRANSedge.
