The Express S1 CNC combines the proven Express platform with CNC control for automated fitting processing and tool changes.
The Gannomat Express S1 CNC combines the proven single-spindle platform of the Express series with a CNC control that enables variable drilling patterns via program selection instead of mechanical changeover. That is the decisive difference from the classic S1: while the standard machine works with fixed hole spacings, the CNC variant can be switched to different carcass dimensions and dowel positions at the push of a button. For joinery shops with a changing order mix — such as built-in furniture, special carcasses or mixed programmes of standard and made-to-measure — this is a genuine productivity gain. The S1 CNC remains a semi-automatic machine: the operator places the workpiece, the CNC control positions. Anyone using CAD/CAM and digital order management can transfer drilling programs directly from the design system to the S1 CNC. The Asamer software team supports integration with common furniture CAD systems.
The Express S1 CNC is the right choice for variant-rich operations with moderate throughput. Anyone producing large series of identical carcasses runs more cheaply with Express S2/S3; for very high variant counts and throughput, Vector CNC or Spectrum are worthwhile.
