In Detail

The Gannomat Express S1 is the entry-level version of the Express series — a semi-automatic dowel insertion machine with a single spindle. For operations with low daily quantities (up to about 50 carcasses), it is the most economical way into the world of the Express series, which has established itself in joinery shops and carcass producers across Europe. Operation is deliberately kept simple: place the workpiece, trigger the release, dowel is set. Thanks to the identical platform of the larger Express models, spare parts and know-how can easily be transferred later when the operation steps up to S2 or S3. Asamer supplies the Express S1 as authorized Gannomat dealer to Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

Applications

For entry into the Express world

Anyone wanting to become familiar with Express technology without immediately investing in a multi-spindle model finds the natural entry in the S1. Operation and maintenance are identical to the larger sisters — retraining for S2/S3 is largely unnecessary later.

For small to medium joinery shops

At daily throughputs of up to about 50 carcasses, investing in multiple spindles is not economically justifiable. The S1 sets dowels in reproducible quality without tying up capital in oversized technology.

Buying Guide

The Express S1 suits small joinery shops and custom producers with stable but low throughput. For more quantities, S2 or S3 are worthwhile; for variant-rich or RTA production, Express S1 CNC or Express S1 RTA are the fitting spin-offs.

FAQ

When is stepping up to S2 worthwhile?

From about 60–80 carcasses per day, the additional spindle pays for itself within a few months.

Can different dowel diameters be set?

Yes — 6, 8 and 10 mm via simple tool change.

How precise is the insertion?

Within common furniture tolerances — sufficient for all standard carcass joints.
