The Barbaric UWL-1 is the entry-level vacuum lifter for smaller workshops, custom joiners and mid-sized carpentry operations that want ergonomic panel handling without a large capital investment. The compact unit reliably handles typical panel formats and moderate loads, immediately relieving a single operator from heavy lifting. The UWL-1 works with an integrated vacuum pump without compressed air connection and couples easily to existing slewing cranes or simple rail systems. For joinery shops moving from pure manual operation to assisted panel handling, the UWL-1 is the economical choice with short payback. Asamer advises as authorized Barbaric dealer on sizing, handles commissioning and provides DGUV-compliant safety inspection in Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
Applications
For small joinery shops with moderate panel volume
When dozens — not hundreds — of panels are moved daily, the UWL-1 is sufficient. Typical users are custom makers, furniture manufactories and trade operations with two to five employees where a larger vacuum lifter does not pay off. The investment pays back through saved working time and prevented back problems already in the first year.
For use with existing slewing cranes
The UWL-1 can be attached to existing column slewing cranes, wall slewing cranes or simple ceiling rails. Retrofitting is completed in a few hours without major conversions in the hall. An existing manual lifting device becomes a vacuum-assisted workstation.
Buying Guide
The UWL-1 is the right choice if you want to enter vacuum handling on a limited budget and primarily move smaller to medium loads. For typical furniture operations with regular large-format panel handling, the UWL-3 is the proven standard model. For thin or porous panels, choose the UWL-1S; for very heavy doors and industrial panels, the UWL-5. Asamer gladly calculates in advance which model economically fits your panel volume.
