The Barbaric RTS Professional is a return system for edgebanding machines that automatically returns finished workpieces to the operator. Instead of carrying parts around the machine, the RTS takes over the entire return path — the operator can invest time otherwise spent walking into preparing the next job. The RTS Professional handles workpieces of common furniture sizes at feed speeds matched to the edgebander. For joinery shops and mid-sized furniture manufacturers who want to get more out of an existing edgebanding machine, the RTS Professional is an economical retrofit. Without a return system, an edgebander typically needs two operators — one to load, one to unload. With the RTS Professional the workpiece runs back automatically, so a single operator can handle the entire process. The freed labour can take on other tasks.
The RTS Professional is economical from medium daily throughputs of several hundred parts. At this operation size, automation quickly pays off through personnel relief. For very small quantities or frequent changeovers, manual operation is sufficient.
Choose RTS Professional for typical joinery and mid-sized operation requirements. For industrial continuous operation with high cycle times, RTS Industrial is the better choice. Very compact operations or mobile applications are served by RTS Compact.
The RTS Professional fits edgebanders from various manufacturers (OTT, Homag, Felder, Biesse, SCM etc.). The interface is designed individually during project planning. Asamer verifies compatibility in advance.
Typically 2–3 m return length plus the edgebander's own length. In an L- or U-arrangement, space requirements can be optimised. Exact dimensions result from the hall layout.
