The RTS Compact is a universal return system for edgebanding machines. Simple installation, short ROI through in-house development of all components. Fast, ergonomic workflow at the edgebander.
The Barbaric RTS Compact is a space-saving return system for edgebanders in small joinery shops and trade operations. It performs the same task as the larger RTS Professional — automatic return of processed workpieces to the operator — but fits into halls with very little free space. The compact construction significantly shortens return length; optionally the system can be arranged in a U-shape around the edgebander. For joinery shops with one to two hundred parts per day and a single skilled worker at the machine, the RTS Compact is the economical entry-level automation: it relieves the operator from walking and allows one-man operation of the edgebander. Asamer supplies the RTS Compact as authorized Barbaric dealer for CZ, SK and HU — including alignment, connection and training.
Joinery shops with three to ten employees benefit particularly from the RTS Compact: the single skilled worker at the edgebander is noticeably relieved while the investment stays manageable. Payback typically within 18 months through saved working time.
Where there is no space for a classic linear return, the RTS Compact offers a U- or L-shape arrangement on just a few square metres. Footprint is typically 1.5–2 metres return length. This leaves sufficient free space for material and worktable.
Choose the RTS Compact if you run a small shop with up to about 200 parts per day or have very limited floor space. For medium throughput, the RTS Professional is the right choice; for industrial edgebanders in multi-shift operation, the RTS Industrial. Asamer shows you on-site which version suits your conditions.
The RTS Compact is compatible with edgebanders from OTT, Homag, Felder and most other manufacturers. Asamer verifies the interface based on your machine data in advance — standard integration is usually possible.
The return length can be extended to a certain extent. If you plan for significantly higher throughput in the medium term, we recommend the RTS Professional directly — conversion from the Compact is possible but not always economical.
Typical assembly and alignment time is 2–4 days — including connection to the edgebander and operator training. Ongoing production is paused for only one or two days.
