The LCV Performance is a fully automatic feeding system for panel saws and CNC machines. Controlled via operator terminal with 2D/3D visualization, interfaces to all major saw manufacturers, fully automatic panel request from the saw. Minimal footprint with reduced personnel requirements.
The Barbaric LCV Performance is a nesting picker that takes finished cut parts from a nesting CNC, separates them and stacks them by order. The system eliminates manual removal from the panel composite, reduces staffing at the CNC and ensures error-free material flow to the edgebander or paint line. The LCV Performance detects parts via camera system and CNC data exchange, picks them with vacuum suction cups to the millimetre and places them on the correct pallet or follow-up transport. For furniture operations with nesting production, the LCV Performance is the key to continuous part production without manual intermediate steps. Asamer realises nesting automation projects for CZ, SK and HU including coordination with your existing CNC.
Applications
For automated nesting cells
In a nesting cell, panel material is cut directly on the CNC into all required parts. The LCV Performance removes the cut parts immediately so the CNC can start the next cutting plan. This significantly increases net output compared to manual part removal.
For batch-size-1 production
In batch-size-1 production (every part unique), manual part sorting is particularly error-prone. The LCV Performance automatically assigns every part to the correct order and stacks by order — goods arrive pre-sorted at the edgebander or paint line.
Buying Guide
The LCV Performance pays off as soon as you run a nesting CNC continuously and must tie up at least one person for part removal and sorting. Payback typically 18–30 months through personnel savings and higher CNC throughput.
FAQ
Which nesting CNCs does the LCV Performance support?
The LCV Performance can be coupled with common nesting CNCs from Homag, Biesse, SCM, IMA or Felder. Data exchange is done via XML export or direct PLC interface. Asamer verifies compatibility with your existing machine during the preliminary consultation.
How small can parts be?
Typical minimum size for part pickup is 80 × 80 mm. Smaller parts can be realised via special applications with adapted suction grippers — Asamer coordinates this during project planning with Barbaric.
How many orders can the LCV stack in parallel?
Depending on configuration, up to 20 parallel order stacks. If this is not enough, a buffer conveyor can be added that transports finished stacks away and creates space for further orders.
